Rockland Scarecrow Days is an annual event sponsored by Rockland Main Street. Stroll down Main Street to see the many creative scarecrows businesses, organizations and families have created for your enjoyment. A great way to get into the Fall and Halloween spirit. Bring your kids!
When: Thursday October 25, 2018 from 5:30 pm – 7:30 pm
Come and enjoy a fun filled evening of carving and decorating pumpkins! We supply the pumpkins, carving tools, paint, and the clean up! You enjoy the well deserved family time, a classic Halloween tradition, plus cider, candy and more! The music will be playing and the tables will be set. Just show up, decorate and take your pumpkins with you when you leave. We will supply one large pumpkin and two mini pumpkins per family. $25.00/Family. Tickets here

It is only $5.00 per rider. Ages 5 and up. The 2018 event falls on Friday & Saturday nights October 26 & 27 at the Skowhegan Fairground. The rides run from 5:30 p.m. until 10:00 p.m.

Downtown Gardiner is celebrating Halloween with the annual Downtown Trick or Treat on Friday, October 26th from 3-5pm. WATER STREET WILL BE CLOSED from Bridge St. to Church St. from 3pm to 5pm only. Be prepared to be very scared… In an ill-advised move, Belfast Maskers is opening the doors of its highly haunted playhouse, The Basil Burwell Community Theater, for three chilling nights.
Questionable characters will attempt to guide foolhardy adventurers through the labyrinth inside the old Church at 17 Court Street. Many are expected to survive the trip and make it all the way through, but safety is not guaranteed.

Your adventure will be guided by Red Cloak Haunted History Tours. Passengers will see up to seven lighthouses, depending on weather and sea conditions, including Doubling Point Light, Hendrick’s Head Light, Seguin Island Light, Ram Island Light and The Cuckolds. The visit to Burnt Island will include landing on the island for an up-close look at the restored keeper’s house and other facilities, including the majestic Burnt Island Light tower. As you go back in time with The Lady in the Red Cloak, you’ll learn the stories behind these iconic beacons; about the lives of some of the keepers and their families, legends and haunts of the lights.
