Welcome to Arts in the Park in Belfast, Maine! Belfast’s beloved Arts in the Park returns to the waterfront on Saturday, June 27 and Sunday, June 28, 2026, inviting visitors to spend a summer weekend surrounded by art, music, food, and beautiful harbor views. Held at Steamboat Landing Park, this signature Belfast event brings together more than 100 Maine artists and makers for two days of open-air browsing in one of Midcoast Maine’s most scenic downtown settings.
Now celebrating its 30th year, Arts in the Park has become a favorite tradition for art lovers, day-trippers, collectors, families, and visitors exploring coastal Maine. The festival takes place just steps from downtown Belfast, making it easy to pair the event with shopping, dining, a walk along the Harbor Walk, or time spent enjoying the working waterfront. The park’s grassy lawn, ocean breeze, and views of Belfast Harbor create a relaxed backdrop for discovering original Maine-made work.
Visitors can explore a wide range of fine art and handcrafted pieces, including paintings, jewelry, ceramics, photography, fiber arts, sculpture, woodwork, and other creative goods. The festival is a great opportunity to meet artists, learn about their process, and take home something with a genuine connection to Maine’s creative community.
Live music will be featured throughout the weekend from the gazebo at Steamboat Landing. On Saturday, June 27, the lineup includes Jonesville from 10 AM to noon, Carolyn Currie from noon to 2 PM, and Neptune’s Return beginning at 2 PM. On Sunday, June 28, performances continue with Belfast Bay Fiddlers from 10 AM to noon, Adam Ouellette from noon to 2 PM, and Smoke & Mojo beginning at 2 PM.
A selection of food vendors will also be on site, adding to the festival atmosphere. The 2026 lineup includes Beanies Lemonade, Downtown Charcuterie, Fields Blueberries, Ruckus Donuts, Stone Fox Farm Creamery, and This Lil’ Piggy, offering everything from fresh lemonade, charcuterie, wild blueberry treats, donuts, and coffee to homemade ice cream, BBQ, mac and cheese, and nachos.
Whether you are planning a weekend getaway, looking for Maine-made art, or exploring downtown Belfast, Arts in the Park is one of the city’s standout summer events. Come for the art, stay for the music and waterfront views, and enjoy a full day in one of Maine’s most vibrant coastal Main Street communities.
