Description

The beautiful Belfast Dog Park is located on the outskirts of downtown Belfast, not far from Hannaford shopping center, on Lincolnville Avenue (Rte 52) near the intersection of Route 1. The dog park is open from dawn to dusk, and welcomes all friendly dogs. It has two sections, one for larger dogs and one for smaller dogs.

The Belfast Dog Park was created by Friends of Belfast Parks and members of the community as a gift to the city, its dog owners, and their dogs. In September 2007, the Belfast City Council approved the location of an off-leash dog park at Walsh Field, and in August 2008 the park opened—one of more than 700 off-leash recreation areas in the country.

We hope you and your dog have a WONDERFUL, POSITIVE experience on each and every visit to the park!
