Downtown Bath Autumnfest in historic downtown Bath, Maine!Celebrate the beauty of fall in the heart of Midcoast Maine at Downtown Bath Autumnfest, happening on Saturday, October 3, 2026, from 10 am to 1 pm in downtown Bath. This annual community festival is filled with seasonal activities, live entertainment, local shopping, and family fun, making it the perfect way to experience Bath’s historic downtown during peak foliage season.
Visitors can participate in a free block printing workshop led by artist Nancy Marstaller, where they can create their own hand-printed tea towels. Shoppers will find special promotions throughout downtown businesses, with participating shops offering bonus “Gift of Bath” certificates with qualifying purchases. Local restaurants and vendors will also showcase fall flavors, featuring apple, cinnamon, and seasonal treats on their menus.
Families will love the wide range of activities designed for all ages. Children can enjoy face painting, crafts, and games at Bath’s Pocket Park, as well as a giant Lego play zone at the Trolley Stop. Pumpkin painting on Centre Street adds a classic autumn touch, giving kids the chance to decorate and take home their own fall creation.
Music fills the air during Autumnfest, with a performance by the Bath Swing Band scheduled from 11:00 am to 12:30 pm on Front Street. Visitors can also experience the annual Fiber Day at the freight shed, highlighting weaving, spinning, felting, and other traditional crafts. The day rounds out with an energetic performance by the “Making a Difference” Community Dance Team.
With its mix of art, food, shopping, music, and family activities, Bath Autumnfest captures the essence of a Maine fall festival. Free to attend and open to all, it’s a must-visit event for anyone looking to enjoy the season in one of Maine’s most welcoming downtowns.

Spend $50 or more at participating downtown businesses and receive a $10 Gift of Bath certificate. Look for a potted pinwheel outside participating locations. Bring qualifying receipts to the Main Street Bath redemption station at Peace House Studio.

Free Activities and Entertainment
Block printing: 10:00 a.m.–1:00 p.m. in the parking lot next to City Hall. Create a design on a complimentary cotton bag. Limited to 100 bags, available first come, first served while supplies last.
Live music: Mason Harrington performs next to City Hall from 11:00 a.m.–1:00 p.m.
