La Kermesse Franco-American Festival is one of Biddeford, Maine’s most beloved summer events, celebrating the city’s rich Franco-American heritage with four days of food, music, culture, and community spirit. Held annually in June at St. Louis Field, this family-friendly festival features a lively parade, classic car show, traditional French-Canadian cuisine, local craft vendors, live entertainment, dance performances, fireworks, and a wide range of activities for all ages.

From the Opening Ceremony to the popular Spaghetti Supper and thrilling Saturday night fireworks, La Kermesse Franco-American Festival brings generations together to honor Biddeford’s history and multicultural identity. Friday, June 20

4:00 PM – 11:00 PM – Festival grounds open
6:00 PM – La Kermesse Parade rolls from Alfred Street to Graham Street, then down West Street to the field
6:30 PM – 7:00 PM – Official Opening Ceremony under the Main Tent
7:00 PM – 8:45 PM – Live performance by Robert Sylvain, Mitch Reed & Jim Joseph at the Main Tent
8:30 PM – 11:00 PM – Studio Two (Early Beatles Tribute) performs at the Main Tent
