Light Up Westbrook (Westbrook, ME)

Light Up Westbrook - Each year between Thanksgiving and just after the New Year, Westbrook, Maine's festive light arrays add a magical ambience to its beautiful historic downtown and riverfront. You don't want to miss it.

As daylight hours continue to decrease, the holiday lights installed by Westbrook's excellent Public Works Department add warmth to the cold night sky. The magnificent light display provides a glowing backdrop for your downtown evening stroll or your dinner in one of the heated outdoor seating areas right along the seasonally decorated riverwalk.

Each year, the Westbrook-Gorman Chamber of Commerce hosts its annual Tree Lighting Ceremony in Riverbank Park. This year, the tree lighting ceremony will be on Sunday, December 7, 2025, from 4:45 to 5:30 PM! There will be hot chocolate, cookies, live music by the Westbrook High School band, and festive fun. Also, this year, join the Westbrook community for the Westbrook Holiday Market at Westbrook Common on Sunday, December 14th, 2025, from 2-5 pm!

Add this to your list of fun holiday events and enjoy the lights display while you eat and drink downtown!
