Description

River Jam Fest 2021 (Biddeford + Saco, ME)! We hope you can join us in the heart of Biddeford downtown and mill districts for FREE family fun, great music, food trucks, entertainment and much more! Two days packed with free family activities and a night of some of Maine's best bands along the Saco River.

The 2021 River Jam Fest will take place on August 20 & 21, 2021.

River Jam returns to Biddeford Aug. 20-21, 2021 with an incredible celebration of life on the Saco River! Reprising our community's plans to celebrate Maine's Bicentennial, Heart of Biddeford is thrilled to host River Jam in conjunction with 3 more local organizations: Biddeford Cultural & Heritage Center, Engine, and La Kermesse! All events on Friday and Saturday are free and open to the public!

Friday, Aug. 20th is Fringe Fest in Shevenell Park and on Main Street, 5-8 p.m.
The River Jam Fringe Fest provides a canvas for the performing arts community to showcase interactive performances and demonstrations in Shevenell Park and on Main Street. Engine has brought together  diverse artistic offerings ranging from music and spoken word, visual arts, dance and more. Plus - it's time for another Pie-Luck (a potluck of pies) and we'll also find ways to celebrate National Potato day! Food from local restaurants will be available. While we wont be hosting a beer garden on Friday night this year, there's plenty of time after Fringe Fest to head to your favorite Biddeford hot spots!

Saturday, Aug. 21 is the River Jam Festival in Mechanics Park.
We start the day at Noon with live music, dance performances and kid's activities. Enjoy crepes and poutine from La Kermesse's food truck and Biddeford Cultural & Heritage Center has coordinated a Cultural Cuisine tent with free tastes from Biddeford's diverse communities. Plus, we're bringing back the River Rush giant slip and slide! Beginning at 4:30 p.m., the evening in Mechanics Park features popular Maine bands, food trucks, and local breweries. The night culminates with fireworks at 9 p.m. provided by La Kermesse.
