River of Trees in downtown Augusta, Maine(November 27, 10 AM - November 29, 2026, 2 PM) is Augusta Downtown Alliance's Annual River of Trees festival. This large raffle event allows the public to bid on holiday trees decorated with items worth $300 or more. This year, proceeds will benefit both the Augusta Downtown Alliance and the Colonial Theater's ongoing restoration efforts. The theme for the event is The Polar Express.
The event will be held over the weekend after Thanksgiving, directly coinciding with Black Friday and the Christmas Tree Lighting in Market Square Park. Come join us and bid on over 30 trees and enjoy some refreshments provided by the Colonial Theater.
