Table Bar is a wine bar and shop located in historic downtown Gardiner, Maine and offers wine (and other drinks) and a full menu. Table Bar focuses on traditionally made and natural wines, and also serve a small rotating selection of beer, sake, cider. Table Bar Gardiner Maine serves a locally-sourced, seasonal menu prepared in place by our resident chef, Jimmy Leftis. The abundance of small farms and fresh seafood in the area inspire Leftis, who honed his skills at Andrew Tarlow’s Diner in Brooklyn and beside Ben Jackson at Drifter’s Wife and Magnus on Water. Their menu changes slightly each week and offers tributes to the classic, simple fare of European cafés and wine bars.
The selection of wines ranges from esoteric, rare, and wild to classic and refined. While they offer several price points, the shop is stocked with affordability, approachability, and conviviality in mind. They think that eating and drinking are fun and the good stuff should be served whenever you want it!
