Friday, February 6, 2026

Adults-Only Sledding and After-Party Social with Biddeford Recreation and Brickyard Hollow | 6:00 PM - 9:30 PM | $10 | 18+

Friday night’s event is for adults only, featuring sledding from 6 PM - 7:30 PM at the iconic Winterfest giant sledding hill on Adams Street in downtown Biddeford and an after-party social from 7:30 PM - 9:30 PM hosted at Brickyard Hollow across the square. This is a ticketed event that includes sledding and admission to Brickyard Hollow, featuring pizza, appetizers, raffle prizes, and giveaways (a full menu and a cash bar for those 21+ are also available for purchase). Space is limited - don’t wait! Purchase tickets on the Biddeford Recreation website. This will be a “snow or shine” event!

Piano Men: The Music of Elton John & Billy Joel at City Theater | 7:30 PM | $35

Piano Men, featuring Biddeford native Joe Boucher, presents the greatest hits of Billy Joel and Elton John, featuring a five-piece band and a classical string quartet. Songs include Your Song, My Life, Tiny Dancer, Goodbye Yellow Brick Road, Rocket Man, Crocodile Rock, and many more. Purchase tickets online or call the Box Office at 207-282-0849.

Winter Fun Time | 10 AM - 3 PM | FREE!

The true "heart" of WinterFest! Come on over for a FREE day of fun and snow for families in the center of downtown!

• Sledding on Adams Street
• Giant outdoor games
• Free pizza, hot dogs, walking tacos, popcorn, cookies, hot chocolate, and more!
• Main Stage Performances:
  • 11 AM: Nine Tigers Kung Fu demonstration
  • Noon: Zumba demonstration
  • 1 PM: Jazzercise demonstration
  • 2 PM: Dance with ME
• Presentation from Sparks' Ark Animal Services (located inside the former Courthouse on Adams Street, 11:30 AM - 12:30 PM and 1 PM - 2 PM - show is free but space is limited). Sparks Arks has been loving and caring for wild animals for more than 30 years. Their mission is to educate, relocate, and rehabilitate wild animals in Maine.

Screening of Balto (1995) at City Theater | 3:30 PM | FREE!

Join us after the sledding wraps up for a free screening of the animated classic Balto, sponsored by McArthur Library. Loosely based on a true story, this heartwarming tale follows Balto, a half-dog, half-wolf, who embarks on a harrowing adventure to deliver medicine across Alaska and save the children sick with diphtheria in the town of Nome. The film stars voices from Kevin Bacon, Bridget Fonda, Phil Collins, and Bob Hoskins, and is full of humor, adventure, and heart. Refreshments will be available for purchase in the City Theater lobby before the show. Free seats can be reserved in advance.

Comedian Juston McKinney at City Theater | 7:30 PM | $35

Juston returns to the City Theater for Winterfest with a show that guarantees to warm you with laughter. Juston is a York County Deputy turned comedian with multiple appearances on The Tonight Show, one-hour specials on Comedy Central & Amazon Prime, including Parentally Challenged and On Mid-Life Support.
