2026 Augusta’s “Flurry of Fun” (Augusta, Maine)
When: Thursday, February 19th, 2026 from 4:30-7:00pm
Where: Mill Parks- 1 Water Street, Augusta, Maine

2026 Bath WinterFest (Bath, Maine)
When: February 21st, 2026.
Join the annual WinterFest in historic downtown Bath for ice carving demonstrations, a lantern parade, games for kids, community meals, and fun contests. Shop sales and local festivities make this a great day out for all ages.

2026 Biddeford WinterFest (Biddeford, Maine)
When: February 6-8, 2026!
A three-day winter celebration in Biddeford’s historic downtown packed with family-friendly entertainment and activities. Whether there’s snow or not, WinterFest offers a weekend of fun, indoor and outdoor events for residents and visitors alike.

Friday, February 6
Adults-Only Sledding and After-Party Social with Biddeford Recreation and Brickyard Hollow | 6:00 PM – 9:30 PM | $10 | 18+
Friday night’s event is for adults-only featuring sledding from 6 PM – 7:30 PM at the iconic Winterfest giant sledding hill on Adams Street in downtown Biddeford and an after-party social from 7:30 PM – 9:30 PM hosted at Brickyard Hollow across the square. This is a ticketed event which includes sledding, and admission to Brickyard Hollow featuring pizza, appetizers, raffle prizes and giveaways (full menu and cash bar for those 21+ also available for purchase). Space is limited – don’t wait! Purchase tickets on the Biddeford Recreation website. This will be a “snow or shine” event!
Piano Men: The Music of Elton John & Billy Joel at City Theater | 7:30 PM | $35
Piano Men, featuring Biddeford native Joe Boucher, presents the greatest hits of Billy Joel and Elton John featuring a five-piece band and a classical string quartet. Songs include Your Song, My Life, Tiny Dancer, Goodbye Yellow Brick Road, Rocket Man, Crocodile Rock and many more. Purchase tickets online or call the Box Office at 207-282-0849.

Presentation from Sparks’ Ark Animal Services (located inside the former Courthouse on Adams Street, 11:30 AM – 12:30 PM and 1 PM – 2 PM – show is free but space is limited). Sparks Arks has been loving and caring for wildlife animals for more than 30 years. Their mission is to educate, relocate and rehabilitate wild animals in the state of Maine.

Screening of Balto (1995) at City Theater | 3:30 PM | FREE!
Join us after the sledding wraps up for a free screening of the animated classic Balto, sponsored by McArthur Library. Loosely based on a true story, this heartwarming tale follows Balto, a half-dog, half-wolf who goes on a harrowing adventure to bring medicine across Alaska and save the children sick with diphtheria in the town of Nome. The film stars voices from Kevin Bacon, Bridget Fonda, Phil Collins, and Bob Hoskins, and is full of humor, adventure, and heart. Refreshments will be available for purchase in the City Theater lobby before the show. Free seats can be reserved in advance.
Comedian Juston McKinney at City Theater | 7:30 PM | $35
Juston returns to the City Theater for Winterfest with a show that guarantees to warm you with laughter. Juston is a York County Deputy turned comedian with multiple appearances on The Tonight Show, one-hour specials on Comedy Central & Amazon Prime, including Parentally Challenged and On Mid-Life Support. 2026 Belfast Ice Festival (Belfast, Maine)
When: February 27th – March 1st, 2026
Downtown Belfast comes alive with the annual ice carving competition and festival weekend. Stroll among ice sculptures, visit local ice bars, and take part in outdoor activities as Belfast’s vibrant community welcomes winter. Join us in downtown Belfast for a weekend of winter fun! A fun way to get out of the house this winter is to take part in the State of Maine Ice Carving Championship!
Take a walk and visit the ice sculptures located throughout downtown Belfast. Take a break and have a drink at one of the ice bars or participate in one of the many outdoor activities Belfast has to offer throughout the winter. If you’re visiting from out of town, make it a weekend!

2026 Somerset SnowFest and Skijor Skowhegan (Skowhegan, Maine)
When: February 14th -21st, 2026
Coordinated by Main Street Skowhegan and Lake George Regional Park, Somerset SnowFest is a celebration of all things winter! Celebrate winter in Somerset County with outdoor activities that include ice fishing derbies, dog sled rides, skating, tubing, and the region’s unique equestrian skijoring events. Events take place in Skowhegan, Canaan, and Madison with something for everyone.
Skijor Skowhegan (Saturday, February 21, 2026)
11 a.m.-4 p.m. | Skowhegan Fairgrounds, Skowhegan
We’ll bring spectators back to the fairgrounds for 2026 to watch skiers and snowboarders navigate a groomed track outfitted with gates, jumps, and rings while being pulled by a rope behind a horse and rider! Register your team here!
Parking is $20 per car, but otherwise free for spectators.

2026 Westbrook Winterfest (Westbrook, Maine)
When: Saturday, March 7th, 2026 | 10 AM to 2 PM (Rain date: Sunday, March 8th, 2026)
Join us for Westbrook Winterfest 2026! Enjoy a fun winter day at Riverbank Park in downtown Westbrook, featuring live performances, snowman making, photo opportunities, family games, and a vibrant market of local vendors. Winterfest brings the community together for outdoor fun and downtown discovery. This year will feature the same great events and activities, including: inflatable bounce houses, performances, Zumba, free s’mores, a photo booth, a caricaturist, the Maker’s Market, food trucks, goats, and more!
